about

Jello/Sugar (GiveUsYourGOLD, February 14th 2014) serves as the frst installment of a series of focused single releases by which Psycho & Plastic will navigate through 2014, splicing their experiences from the deepest underground of Berlin with the glamorous allure of clubs and galleries.
The opening track “Jello“ generates the thrust necessary to initiate this adventure. Its muscular bass line guides us through a heat haze delirium and past the fragments of psychedelic sounds and voices. We cut through the darkness, insistently heading towards the dance foor, on which “Sugar“ ignites the second stage. Its more brittle and light footed electro funk propels us into the glistening light, where we are greeted by a saccharine synth melody. A robot, its voice bearing clear marks of ADD, hands out free candy for all. We dance in total bliss.
