about

Psycho & Plastic's new single harkens back to last year’s album Phantom Bliss which saw the duo rise to international recognition and critical acclaim. The LP included the original version of ‘Fragile Targets’, about which they said:
“‘Fragile Targets’ laments the frailty of our existence. The track is our way of coming to terms with our own vulnerability by finding dignity and love in it."

‘Fragile Targets (Ambient Version)’ is stripped down to bare essentials. This version’s delicate piano melody, ominous synth harmonies and electronic hisses elevate the previous iteration’s unwavering fragility even further. From there, a new hopefulness arises and touches the heart, like the first tentative rays of a new spring sun glistening through the clouds. Shining a light of optimism into the darkness, Psycho & Plastic turn towards releasing more new music in the coming months.
